Integrated management of surface water and groundwater to mitigate flood risks and water scarcity in arid and <scp>semi?arid</scp> regions

Water scarcity in arid and semi-arid regions represents a significant obstruction to social economic development. Also, flood hazards affect the life of many people these areas. This study aims develop new model for integrated management surface water groundwater, which involves rainwater harvesting recharge groundwater aquifers. Integrated hydrological models, including geographic information system (GIS), watershed modelling (WMS) (GMS) were used. research provides an vision exploiting Wadi Watier, South Sinai, Egypt shows insights on how protect areas from risks store solve this region.
